  1. These are such easy questions about the French Revolution that I have to ask you what research have you done yourself so far?

I really want to help you but you must show some responsibility in answering the questions.

My first suggestion is log in to   www.webferret.com, download it (it is free and will help you in your home work for all the years you are in school) and type in the top window where it says search  " FRENCH REVOLUTION" Now go over to the right of the search line and hit that little magnifying glass symbol which will bring up the answers to your search.

What options do you have there?  Notice all the different answers. Go down to the one you prefer.

You will get a nice easy tutorial that says Louis xvi (16th) was the King and Marie Antoinette the Queen of France in 1789.  There was no crop that year and the people were hungry.  The King needed money and was about to tax the middle class. But they revolted, took the Bastille and got control of the government.

The results of the Revolution were (1) People could not be imprisoned and tortured(2) Anyone could be promoted in the army, not just the nobility (3) the church lost its power.

The people won the Revolution and the kings and queen were beheaded by the guillotine in 1793.

Hope this helps. Let me know if I can be of more help in your school work.
