  1. Best Buy.

  2. go to apple.com or buy a book from any reatialer, or ur local library might have mac os x for dummies

  3. On apple.com they have manuals one every mac.

    here is a link:

    http://manuals.info.apple.com/en_US/iBoo...

  4. Start with the Help files - at the top of your screen.  There's a lot of basic information there.

Also, under the Apple (top left corner) there's a lot of info about your mac and a place to check for software updates.

Just remember, you're using a pretty old system.  They haven't made the G3 iBook in a long time.  So if you go looking for a "Dummies" book be sure to get the right one.

Here's a better idea.  Once you're up and running on the internet, go to the Apple site.  Find Support > Discussions.  There are discussion groups of users for just about every Mac ever built. So I'm sure you'll find a lot of friendly and helpful advice there for any questions you have.

Just sign in and ask all the questions you want.

(BTW, the G3 iBook is a great little machine.  I had one for about five years ... until one day I kinda zapped it ... by spilling a glass of champagne into the keyboard.  I don't advise doing that ...

  5. Try browsing the net you will likely get the answer their.
