I need I-Pod Help, fast!?

Question

Ok, so I was using my stopwatch on my I-Pod nano, the new one. I was timing how long it took for my friend to run a lap. Then I shut it off. When I got home it wouldn't turn on.i tryed plugging it into my IHome and when I hit the power button, it said it worked but the screen still didn't show up. I don't get it. Please help I need help before tomorrow!!!

your ipod is probably on Hold or its lock. Threes a button on the botton of the ipod, try to switch it on.

Push The Center Button & The Bottom Button Together & Just Hold Them Till The Apple Shows Up On The Screen It Should Work! Hope I Helped.
