  1. Unistalling it then reinstalling it WON"T do any difference. Since the IE folder contains hidden files that are stored on your C drive. So when you unistall it it won't erase those hidden folders/files that's why you have this problem. Internet Explorer has many problems and a problem like yours would be fixable in two ways;

    1. Reinstall a fresh copy of windows (make sure to use FULL Erase to your hard drive, not the quick one) you want to make sure everything is wiped off your system..

    OR

    2. You can try to restore your PC to an earlier dat that you think IE was working fine.

    OR

    2. Go to apple.com and go to downloads section and download web browser Safari. It works like a charm.

  2. Try uninstalling it then reinstalling it, But a much better Browser is Firefox. Alot better then IE...

  3. idk but if you have dialup/dsl or somthing uninstall ie and redownload

  4. open Control  panel, open Internet Options, go to Advanced tab (most versions), or Programs tab, click "Reset Web Settings". See if that works.

  5. Unfortunately as you don't say what plug-ins you have installed, I cant give you specific uninstall instructions.

    When you run it, from the tools menu select manage plugins.  In there, disable everything, and restart the browser.  If it still works, then its defiantly a plug-in.

    Exactly which one will have to be done through trial and error.  Go back to the plugins section, and click them on one at a time.  After activating one, save the settings and restart the browser.  If it fails to start you have found the problem.

    Once you have found the offending plugin, you can then uninstall it through the control panel > add removes programs > select the plugin.
