  1. I'm 19 female. I just started riding 2 years ago. OMG. i was soooo bad for like the first whole year. i didn't want to do any jumps or anything like that. You always just have to have faith in yourself. And before you go into this sport you have to relize that you WILL break somthing. I broke my wrist and had to have surgery. when i did my first jump i was just like s***w it...and went for it. it's the most awesome feeling. Only two years into the sport i do doulbes and triples and table tops and quads.... you will learn. don't worry. it does take time though. first thing you should do is watch a race on tv and see what the pros do. hope this helped at least a little. bye!

  2. Okay, first of don't plan on spending $10,000. That's only if you want the fastest bike that money can buy. If your starting off, I have always referred people to buy a CRF150R. The reason for that is because it is way lighter than the CRF150F or 230F. I believe it ways somewhere around 180lbs. while the 230f is going to be even heavier than a 250R. The bike is light, and offers room to grow. If you put me on a CRF150R I would probably smoke most people on a track. Most the time it is the rider not the bike. That brings me to another subject. Riding track, and riding trails. Start off riding trails for a while to get used to the weight of the bike the weight of your gear, and what not. Than once you know the weight, and feel of your bike go to the track JUST TO SEE HOW YOU LIKE IT. Because there is one really good thing about that track even if you don't like it. It will make you a better rider wayyyy faster than trail riding. Maybe you can go trail ride for a while, and once every few months go to the track. Another you can consider but is on the pricey side. Is lessons. But hey, you may be on the wealthy side go for it, because you will learn A LOT! But you can also learn it on your own...The hard way haha. Oh, and the CRF150R is a pricey bike compared to the 150F though I forgot to mention. the 150F is a very good bike to start on. But doesn't have much room to grow. What I mean is if you get better, you will want a faster bike. The CRF150R will please you till the end. So tell your parents it's a better investment.

    Some tips on skills.

1always have your arms up never lazied down

2be standing up 90% of the time

3when turning push on the outside peg hard!(EX: turning right push on the left peg) this is for traction reasons you will understand the first time you don't do it, and wash out :0!

4 learn how to use both front, and back break together, you will be able to go so much faster because you have capability to stop faster!

5 LOOK FORWARD!!!!! everyone will say this I promise you if you ask people that know what there doing. Go to a track, and ask around! they will say this tip. Never look down in front of you. Don't be afraid of what's in front, your bike will absorb everything.

6 Set the suspension to your weight. Ask your dad to buy a service manual for your bike from a dealership, yes they can mail it to you if it's far just call. I personally work at Huntington Beach Honda. Call me if you need anything (work number:714-842-5533) anyway call get the manual it will teach you how to do it. If you can't figure it out pay someone at a shop, and buy the book anyway, you will need to take care of your bike before and after EVERY RIDE!! it will tell you maintanence schedule! :]

  4. What's the question? There's a million questions that pertain to motocross. If you're starting out I'll just say it's a fun, family oriented sport. It can be dangerous but not so much if you use your head and use common sense.

  5. well what do you want to know. Youre a girl and youre just starting out, i have a honda crf230f and its a great trail bike that i know alot of girls ride. but if youre more interested in doing the track then get something more like a 125. i dont know youre size so thats hard. umm...motocross is VERY EXPENSIVE. look to spend 10,000 (pads, boots, helmets, clothing, track membership, bike, gas, oil, medical bills). but i think its worth it. go to your local dirt bike dealership and talk to a salesperson to see what you should get. its also a very physically demanding sport so if youre not ready to wrestle a 250lb dirt bike then go to a gym. in the long run its fun and worth every penny (usually) so good luck and i encourage you!

  6. motocross is a sport that is extremly fun, but expensive. the bike is not cheap, neither is the gear or the up keep of the bike. this is a sport, if you are a kid, that should be enjoyed by the entire family.......

good luck to you, and keep your dreams alive.......

  7. if your going to start on a quad make sure you shift your butt  the way you are turning... it will lessen the chances of you fliping

  8. very expensive, dangerous, and fun
