I need SAT Help?

I just got my sat scores back and i don't know which ones to add up. I know you have to add the reading,math, and writing up. but i don't know if you have to include the multiple choice and the essay. I got 480,440,480, and then under it it says 47 for multiple choice and an 8 on the essay. Do i have to add them up too? So what would i have?

You just add up the the first three scores, 480, 440, and 480. The multiple choice and essay are parts of the writing section.

So you recieved a total score of 1400.

You add up the three big scores. Your SAT score is 1400, which is a little on the low side.
