I need Turtle advice?

My sister and I found a eastern painted turtle. He is in a tuff toe with pond water right now. What should we feed him? Educated answers please!

Throw worms or fish in there,it`ll eat any kind of meat.

Removing turtles from the wild is illegal in most states.  The majority of turtles taken from the wild die within a year in captivity.  Please release this turtle where you found him.  If you would like to get a turtle - there are rescues that can help you, but do your research first.  Good luck to you and this little one!  :)

this was answered when your sister asked it.  please just leave the turtle alone.  it does not need you to feed it, house it, or anything else.  it was doing just fine before you kidnapped it.

feed him chunks of bread, or pellets of turtle food. try getting an aquarium, so you can watch it indoors.
