  1. used goods sports store.

or you can frankenstein one. my 3 wood is the shaft of an old 1 wood i had and the head of a 3 wood that broke off.   if you often break your clubs it's pretty cheap to reshaft them. like 20-30$. so just keep what you break and take it into a pro shop ask for a new cheap grip and shaft. really the head is the soul of the club the really expensive part. that part almost never breaks. my guess is your clubs broke on the shaft near the head.

probably metal shafts don't break as often. usually your shaft breaks from contact on the shaft, with graffite it sometimes doesn't take that much. even hitting the ball with the shaft can do it.

  2. I went to Golf Mart and purchase a real nice 3 wood for 7.50. It was in the bargain used bin. King Cobra three wood. Good deal. Check out this and other golf stores for quality used clubs.

  3. Why would you want a 3 wood for the driving range as opposed to the course?  My suggestion would be ebay or most golf stores have a used clubs bin or an 'off brand' bucket.  Even stores like Walmart, Target, and Meijer have cheap clubs.

  4. wal mart. Or play it again sports. You should be able to find something around 20 bucks.

  5. If your breaking clubs are you doing something wrong?  are you hitting behind the ball so hard that your ramming them into the ground?

I agree though with the post that said reshaft the head.  Or go on an auction site and bid on a cheep club.

  6. rockbottomgolf.com

    globalgolf.com

    golfgalaxy.com

    www.tgw.com

    golfetail.com

    golfsmith.com

All of the above are the best places to find clubs online. Most of them have a used section or a demo/return section. Golfsmith and golf galaxy are chains that have stores you can stop in so check your local yellow pages. ***** Sporting goods has a big golf section in there stores.

Walmart has cheap ones....but they will break so dont go there

    Best of luck

  7. Check out ebay, craigslist or used golf store. You can sometimes also find guys who can custom make golf clubs for you. I had a guy who'd custom build me King Cobra woods for $50 each.

  8. Go to a discount golf site and they'll have older model fairway woods for reasonable prices.  I like the old Ping I3 3 wood or the Nike Ignite T60.  Try ebay.  They have all kinds of stuff.  I just bought an 08 Model Driver for under 200 bucks on there.  Other sites to look at:

    globalgolf.com

    rockbottomgolf.com

    gppgolf.com

    golfdiscount.com

    golfetail.com
