I need a 500w rms 4ohm amp?

i bot a 500w rms alpine type r 4ohm and i need an amp to go with it

im trying to keep the budget for the amp 100 dollars- 130 (150 if i HAVE TO) i only want to run the subs at about 450rms and save the other 50 for the speakers in the door behind back seat (if needed)

the Type-R is a 4ohm DVC sub so depending on how its wired you can get impedances of 2 or 8ohms at the amp-- this diagram will help you with you wiring http://www.the12volt.com/caraudio/woofer...

so the amp needed wiil have about 500watts RMS @ 2ohms (not 4ohms) and it needs to be CEA-compliant which means that the amps have been tested and produce of exceed the advertised RMS wattage with minimum distortion (distortion is the main ccauseof speaker damage)

you need a mono block amp (one channel) for the subs because it will run cooler and they are made just for subs so as far as powering the speakers in the door you should get a small 2-channel amp

For that little money try the pawn shops. Because at the retail level it usally runs you about a dollar a watt. Thats for true power not that fake flea market junk. Make sure your looking at the RMS power rating not the "MAX" Power rating. Cheap amps always post there MAX Power rating to fool you. Hope this helped.
