My father's grandmother was a Scottish Native. Will that be enough, if I can get all the proper documents?

  1. You may need an European passport but you definately don't qualify for one under those circumstances.

You don't even qualify for a UK Ancestry visa because the link between yourself and your British ancestors is too far apart (it would need to be through your grandparents to qualify for an Ancestry visa and through your parents only to be British yourself).

Your welcome to look at the requirements for a British citizenship and how people who qualify can apply though.

  2. No, too many generations have passed.

If you go back 4 generations, most of us probably have ancestors from half a dozen countries.  You can't just become a citizen like that.
