I need a Halloween Costume!!!?

Question

I am a 15 (going to be 16 in October) boy in my school band. We have Halloween parades for 2 nearby towns. I'm 5'8 and a fatty. I need a good costume because i hate it when I'm a fat scream for Halloween! Last year i went as Peter Griffin from Family Guy. So i need good ideas of what to be for Halloween! PLZ HELP!

Be a cavalry soldier and learn how to play a "charge" on your trumpet.  This way you're instrument will make sense as a part of your costume.  I'm not sure that a trumpet-playing vampire would really work.

Why don't go as a vampire and just use face paint.  The other suggestion is go as a pumpkin, with green tights and an orange cloth belly with green arms and stems.  You can always keep the face clear and use face paint.
