I need a Thermostat for 220 baseboard heat and 24V Central Air Conditioning? (1 unit) who makes it?

  1. White Rodgers or Honywell.

    If they don't make one, just wire a 24 volt relay with double pole high voltage contacts for your heat strips and install it in your unit.Then you could use a regular multistage stat.


  2. HVAC Tech.:  What you need is a 28 volt coil with a 230 volt input. they have them at all a/c wholesale parts houses. the other thing you need to know before you go to pick one up is, what is the mili-amp rating on the one you have. That will be written on the data tag attached to the old one.

  3. To the best of my knowledge, there is no such thermostat.  They are either 220, or 24 volt.  This system will probably need 2 thermostats - 1 for heat, and 1 for cooling.
