I need a announcement that I can say over the intercom!?

I work in an office and everyday the the production department has a meeting and our operation manager ask me to annouce this event over the intercom and for some reason I always seem to say something absolutely rediculious it usually consists of "attention production theres now a meeting upstairs or theres now a meeting in progress/process it just sounds unprofessional please someone help me!

It is best to do the announcement a few minutes before the meeting is scheduled to start. Since it is a daily meeting, I am assuming that it is a scheduled event at the same time.

Keep it simple:

"Attention, Production department, today's meeting will begin in ___ minutes."

If the meeting is always in the same place there may be no need to announce room #'s daily, but I would occasionally mention where in case there are new employees.

I would say:

The Daily Production Meeting is beginning in room such and such.

Additionally, I would ask if there is a more efficient way of conveying this meeting: such as an invitation with a reminder, a memo or people who go to the same meeting everyday remember what time it starts and where it is...
