I need a b-day gift for my best friend help!??!

my best friend's b-day is coming up and ive known her for 6ish years! i want to make this birthday special for her. i was thinking about making her cupcakes and writing a different memory on each one. but i think i need more. what other ideas can i do? i was thinking about something that was progressional. like gradual gifts durign the day.. HELP!
