In today's day and age, parents are not willing to solicit childcare so easily.

I would start within your own network of family members, friends, co-workers, etc.

Otherwise, you can try out some online outlets such as Craigstlist or Care.com....I suggest care.com because its a paid service which will eliminate most bogus adds and/or people.  It also shows you are serious, since you are willing to pay for the subscription.
