  1. Hey Gilbert...musics sounding quite good so thats obviously not the issue...okay, well I see Jose Vanders, I know that she's a young girl who was seriously screwed when MySpace randomly deleted her old profile late last year I think; I helped her out to get new friends (bulletins, and she sent me a personal message thanking me so she does respond) and eventually MS gave her back her old profile. The point is, she's nice, so maybe ask her if you can be in her top friends for a while or if she'll add your banner somewhere on her profile for a while, not permanently be sure to emphasise this...or maybe just make a 'w***e code' linking to your music and ask Jose to send it as a bulletin.

DONT do it yet tho cos you need some more friends first.

Also, find similar artists and COMMENT THEM saying how great their music is, etc, (as long as you believe it yourself) and how people who like their music should add you. If all else fails steal their friends shamelessly. Get a bored friend/younger relative to just mass add people for you...if youre looking at a certain demographic (i.e.: 16 to 30 yr olds, then go on some club sites like Underage Festival and advertise any gigs your doing prominently. Do a cover of a song which is quite famous, and try and get your image across.

Tbh on your profile there isnt much information...tell people WHO you are, WHY they should listen, YOUR background musically, YOUR influences, and go with a plain BLACK layout with your name in a special font at the top in a bright colour...internet generators are ok for this like Code My Layout, just dont look tacky by leaving in the logos, you want it to look like a custom page (Coolchaser logo looks a bit bad tbh).

Furthermore, add cool and interesting people's MySpaces who may take a shine to you such as fashion designers, indie record labels, music festivals. Never be afraid to ask for a favour, such as 'Will you put my song as your profile song' once you have built up a bit of a rapport with them.

Be original. NO smiley pics cos this will undermine your image. Get a 'pro shot' done...nothing too arty just sit under a tree or something holding a gigantic cardboard musical note. It should work with a bit of PhotoShop.

Be cooooooooooooooooool but never sell out. Don't follow my advise if its not your style or what you want, but always send plenty of comments out when you get friends as these are valuable linkbanks. Join forums, and dont call your music 'crappy' like you did in your blog or go on about **** sound quality or people will think its **** :) Don't promise youtube videos if you cant be arsed to upload em!

    Hope I helped ya x
