Question:

I need a bike and I don't know which to buy??

I ride bicycle but not a proffessional.I wand a bike that I can be riding it to work,school,or go out,but I don't know the bike that will good for me??At the same time I only want less than $300.00 bike.Can anyone recomend a bike for me please?????????

  1. You should look at a hybrid style bike.   Look for a bike with a rigid fork (no 'springs' on the front wheel or back wheel).   Get one with 700c wheels (mountain bikes have smaller, 26" wheels) as they roll more efficiently.   NO disc brakes as the ones on cheaper bikes are just extra weight.    After you test ride a few bikes, you should find one that 'speaks' to you..........


  2. I just bought a Schwinn Men's Tourist hybrid bike at Target. The women's bike was a lot heavier than this one. Surprisingly, it also fits me perfectly. It costs about $250. I really like it because it's light weight and really easy to handle. I'm a beginning cyclist and after a lot of research, I decided to get this bike because of the price. When I get better at cycling in the future, I'll look into getting a more expensive bike.
