I am due with my 6th, yes 6th, baby two days after my third son's birthday. I need a cool suggestion for a party. Nothing expensive because I'll be broke for months any way with the newest one coming. It just has to be a cool idea. I'm out of them at the moment. Last time I threw a party with a huge cake covered in bugs and had a bouncy house. This year he isn't into that. He is so quiet I have to guess what he will like half the time. (You always get one shy one in the group.) Anybody have an awesome boy party idea out there? The grosser the better. Lately he got his brothers to buy him stink bombs and thinks them hilarious. Smelled up the whole house and car the last three days. Yuck!

  1. Aliens are always in. Or monsters that aren't too scary. Another cool idea could be snakes or reptiles of any sort. Exotic and possibly risky especially with a newborn, but it's a guarenteed hit of the party. Best of Luck!

  2. Chuck E Cheese is SOOOOOOO expensive to do a party at!!  You could always with the weather being nice....go get a few of those blue kiddie pools....fill em up with water and water balloons..have a WATER PARTY!!!  Kids come in swim suits!!  If you don't wanna get wet...best stay home!!  What boy doesn't like water ballooons??  Mine LOVE em!!

  3. skateboard party

    dinosaur hunt

CSI party--have the children solve a crime.  i saw this on tv.  they made the cake look like a magnifying glass.

    john deer tractor party

    batman--all the super heros

wrestling--we did wrestling year and it was great.  i got a pic of two of his favorite wrestlers for the invitations and his cake.  i decorated the house with red, black and white balloons.  we also made the signs like the people hold up at the wrestling mathces.  that decorated the walls.  i used red bags with pics of wrestiling and wrestling clip art of the front.  i filled the gift bags with candy, shades and minature wrestling men.  we order pizza but you can always do hotdogs.  my son got the video game for christmas so we didnt a Raw Vs. Smackdown tournament on playstation.  the boys were entertained and no one got hurt.

try orientral trading for some party favors and possible ideas as well.

    hope this helps!

  4. bowling party. They do all the work. If you are that far along in your pregnancy then you want someone else to do the majority of the work.

  5. How about a bowling birthday party? My son and daughter both enjoy bowling parties.

Perhaps miniature golf would be more there speed. Just a couple ideas.

  6. jump zone

  7. have his party at the zoo or at a indoor amusment park.u could always go with chuck cheese

  8. We've done Pirate parties for the past three years.  Every year I get a little more into it.  I'm known for my kids' parties.  I've been asked to plan other people parties after they attend one here.  Anyway...It's tough to give you ideas that will be great if we don't have a clue what he's into.  For my son's 9th party, this coming October, we're planning a "camping" party.  We are pitching a tent on our front covered patio and doing everything in bugs.  Using the fire pit to make smores and tell ghost stories.  If I can get an idea of his likes and dislikes I'd be more than happy to work on something for you.  Just email me.  yes CSI parties are a blast.  Lots of fun and gross in that one.

*ADD* Fear Factor is so much fun and totally disgusting.  Here's a website to look for food and party ideas that will have them gagging.
