to stop my pc slowing down how do i delete music of i-tunes library without losing any music of my 80gb i-pod.

It sounds like your ipod is sycronised with itunes so plug in your ipod. When it's loaded click on the ipod in the left hand side and then go to music. (not where it says music on the left but once you've clicked on your ipod's name) Then it will say synced with blah blah - library probably and then just change it so that it's noy scynced.

your pc slowing down is usually not because of a full hard drive (although check how close you are to the capacity.)  have you scanned with avg or spybot recently?  you should, before you delete music.

When you are in library just right click and delete. If you still want to keep the music on your i-pod do not auto sync your i-pod after this. With your i-pod attached to your computer you have the option to manually sync tunes so that you can choose what goes and what stays.
