its about a girl named mary and she gets raped @ age 13 and her mom and step-dad kick her out of the house (the house is in London 1860 i think??) cuz she is pregnant. she meets a prostitute named doll and mary turns in to one too. as the winter starts coming doll tells mary to go to a Church in which she has to want to stop prostituting and right before new years she ask to leave. and they let her. she tryed to go find doll and when she finds her ,doll is frozen and dead. so she leaves to go find her moms old friend Mrs Jones the seamstress. and on her way she has s*x with a guy to make money. and @ Mrs jones house she meets a guy bout 17 and his dad and him don't mix well 2gether, and runs the tavern,so mary says she'll go to get the beer. she finds out the the guy who owns the tavern is the guy she sleep with. after a while the 17 old guy ask mary to marry him...... that's where i stopped and the cover was pink with a ribbon on the front. i think?? please help me find it. it is also a grown up book you could say
