I need a bottle of champagne and wine.. please help...?

i am not an expert on any of these choices but its my bf's bday and i want to have a nice romantic time with him and i wanted to get one of each... please help me decide..... i'd reall appreciate it... i want to get a nice buzz.... i like dry wines..but i will be making some chocolate covered strawberries and have food (italian) delivered to us... please help..

I agree with chefgril..on the Mumm for bubbly.  But, I love chocolate covered strawberries with a good bottle of Pinot Grigio. I also found some good New York dry rieslings that fit the bill.

For the bubbly I always go with Mumm.  Their demi-sec would go great with all the food you've mentioned.

If you are going to put out, it really doesn't matter how bad the wine is, he's going to be fine.  Just get him a bottle of Night Train or Mad Dog.  If you're not going to put out, then it doesn't matter how good the wine is, he's going to be miserable.  In that case get him two bottles of Night Train or Mad Dog.
