Hi, I need a bridle but I'm on a budget. I was thinking about getting this one for my 16.4 hand thoroghbred (alot older though so a little chubby)

I ride hunter-jumper is that a hunter-jumper bridle (first horse!)

  3. Instead of buying a cheap bridle, see if you can get a nice used one instead (make sure it is in good condition though)

  4. There are pro's and con's to buying a cheap bridle.  While it starts out working fine, cheap bridles often wear down very fast unlike the ones that you pay big bucks for which last for years if properly cared for.  If you can afford something of better caliber, it will save you from having to buy a new bridle in a year.
