  1. yeah i am todally with you, animals do and can get depressed just like people so if your bunny has been with the other one for a long time and they have become attached then you should get another bunny to keep it company. hoped i helped :)

  2. Yeah, but the new bunny may get beat up by the older one, who is defending her territory...So, put them both out on the floor so they can get to know each other, then put them in a very clean cage.... (use 1/3 cup bleach to a bucket of water)

The cage should be scrubbed and rinsed well.....then there will be no scent of the older rabbit, and it won't bother the new one..

This should work out, if not, buy a new cage, and put the new bunny in it for about 2 hours, then put the old one in...Best of luck to you...

  3. I have had rabbits for a number of years and I have found that it is best to see how your rabbit behaves. You may find that your rabbit prefers to be alone. Just give her lots of attention and she may be fine! I am sorry that your other rabbit died.

  4. just give it diorria

  5. that'd be a good idea

  6. Well, first find out what the first one died of. If it was a disease you don't want any more bunnies until everything has been disinfected and your living bunny has seen a vet.

However, bunnies are social animals, and your living bunny probably will want another bunny to keep him/her company.

If you have an unfixed girl, she will be territorial around all other bunnies, particularly other unfixed girls.

2 unfixed boys will fight as well.

Your best bet is a fixed boy and a fixed girl bunny. While your previous two bunnies may have been fine together, they probably grew up together. Strange bunnies may feel differently.

  7. You absolutely should. It is in their nature to be around other rabbits. Especially if you never let them out of their cage. If you decide not to get another rabbit then make sure you spend alot of time with it. Rabbits are known to get lonely and stressed which, as you probably know, leads to destructive behavior.

  8. DON'T GET ANOTHER ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    They wont be good together.

See how the other one reacts for a week or a few days ring up a vet or a pet shop and ask them.

My mum says if one of my two gorgeous rabbits die it would be kinder to get the other one put down

    All the best truely

  9. what you should do is wait maybe a few days to a week and see how he/she reacts if she is depressed then i recommend you get her one depending on what she likes then try to satisfy her want with that type of bunny. oh i'm not an expert i'm only 14 bbut want to become a vet and know a lot about animals so that information should help.
