I need a car?

i'm 17 i'll be 18 this month and i have been using my moms car to get around, but next month i will be going to college and its about 45 minutes to an hour away from home. they will not buy me a car and i do not have the funds to buy it myself but does ANYONE at all know what i can do to get one

You probably don't need a car for your first year or two of college.  By years 3 and 4, you may be spending more time off campus working, etc, but for right now, see how you do without one and enjoy the money you'll save by not having to pay car payments, gas, insurance, and maintenance.

(you didn't mention, but I assume you'll be living on campus).

Try begging them! if you beg long enought they'll probably cave in and end up buying you a car!

really need to know where the college is here

is a form of public transport a option

can you live in the dorm or a rented house near by

kinda bad planing on your part here

is there any family/friends that live near the college

for the most part if you have trouble geting a car realistically how arer you going to afford insurance and maintenance

you need to set up a part time job preferably through the college and see what you can qualify for as far as living accommodation's
