My wedding date is set for March 2009 in Houston, TX and we still aren't able to find a caterer worth hiring. We aren't looking for anything fancy...we don't want to pay an arm & a leg but we still want tasty food and an affordable price. Any Suggestions?

I have tried looking at theknot.com and other websites but they have limited suggestions.

  1. I would search for catering companies the same way I search for almost everything...do a yahoo local search.  Go to the Yahoo! homepage, at the top, right above the search box you will see a link that says "Local".  When you click on that link it splits the search box in two.  On the right side type what you are looking for (catering) and on the left type where (Houston, TX).  It pulls up a huge list.  Most companies will have a website you can go to.  I did this just now and found a couple you might want to look into...they don't seem like they would be too expensive.  Be sure to read the customer testimonials on the catering websites as well as on Yahoo.

    Good Luck :)
