I need a cellphone? Plz Help?

I am trying to beg my parents for a cellphone but I need a good reason to have one I tried everything and I am a good student I get straight A's so there is no problem plz help me!!!!!!!!!

i played the "i dont feel safe when i go off with my friends without having some way of getting ahold of you(my parents)"

now ive got a cell phone. and im a a/b student

that doesnt really help much around the house or anything

try to convince them you know your limits and you wont be running up the phone bill like most teenagers do
