I need a certain SUV?

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone knew of any good SUV's. Like ones that drive smooth, and don't rattle. I like small SUV's, no long boats. :]

Please list me some!

There is certainly a plethora of SUVs on the market today for anyone and everyone and really quite a few small SUVs. But you really need to ask yourself what are you expecting out of the vehicle? Are you planning on going off-road? If so, then you need to look at a model that has readily available aftermarket equipment to make off-roading more fun and your vehicle that bit more capable and safe.

If not going off-road, do you still want a true two speed transfer case or just all wheel drive capability and a single speed transfer case, which will give you less ability in an off-road situation but on road will be good in snow,dirt road and in the wet.

Petrol or diesel? Diesels are not the stinky,smelly things of old but now are some of the most innovative engines on the market. Diesel may be more expensive per liter but the mileage increases versus petrol today more than make up the pricing differences!

Personally, I've always been biased towards Jeeps and their new Patriot and Compass models are small,agile and with their available diesels are very frugal on fuel. More car-like than boat-like! And no! I'm not affiliated with Jeep corporation in any way LOL!! They also have the Cherokee and the very excellent Wrangler if you want a small,very,very capable off-roader and the wind in your hair!!!
