  1. No, you do not as the others have said.

    Start like this...1:00 Am.....2AM...etc. until you get to

    1200 PM then add 12 to that..makes it 2400.

    1 PM add 1200 to that makes it 1300...

    You only have to subtract 1200 from whatever military time

    you have to get the time as you can know it.

    try  2245...........what did you get?

    2234 subtract 1200 equals 10:34 PM

    It's that easy.  Was not for me at first though.

    My husband was in the Military.


  2. just basic math.....prior to noon is 0 whatever time then from noon add 12....

    1pm is 1300

  3. There is no need for a chart. All you need to do is subtract 12 from the time. Hence 2000 would be 8:00PM (20-12=8) anything after 12 noon is the 12 hour time plus 12.  !330 hours is 1:30PM (13-12=1)

    I hope this clears it up for you.

  4. count from one to twelve then every number over 12 u subtract 12 for the afternoon time.  1900-1200=7PM

    2300-12=11pm
