I want to know of all the people who died in my residence. Does anyone know a website where I can look up JUST the address without a name? Ive visited a few but you have to know the name and all. I just want a site where all I have to do is type in the address. Anyone know of any?

  1. Have you ever tried find a grave.com. It has alot of cemetaries just about every where, give it a try. also try the gen web for your state and county.

  2. There is always the Social Security Death Index, but you still have to know the name and some info on the birth or death.

If you find the right Social Security Number, you can obtain for a small fee a copy of the application for a social security number. It will have full name, birth date and place, place of occupation, names of parents, and parents' birthplace.

  3. www.labs.familysearch.org

It is totally free,  Right now the only states they have death certificates for are Michigan, Ohio, Texas, WVA, Washington and Utah.  Keep checking as they are adding more info every day!

  4. No death index (free or not) is set up by address.  It will always be by name.  What you CAN do, is trace the title history on the property back.  In the US, that would be on a county basis. This gives you names of people who owned the house.. not who may have rented it, or any possible deaths (ie child, friend visiting, etc).  With the owners names, you can use the social security death index which will include names back approx 40-50 yrs (early 1960s), and look for any possible "stand outs" such as someone who died young.

If there are any long time neighbors, you can ask them, as well.

Sorry that the format that you want, is not out there.
