I need a decent cheap furnished apartment in Central Jakarta

Hi!

I may be moving to Jakarta. I need a furnished apartment/studio in a safe area in Central Jakarta. Not too far from Ratu Plaza Office Towers.

How much do you think I'd pay?

I'm on a tight budget so what are other alternative housing options?

Do you have any websites I could visit?

If I share with others it would have to be all girls but I prefer to live alone.

Is it safe for a woman to live alone in Jakarta?

Public transport...whats it like?

Banking. Is it hard to get a checking account if your an expat?

And of course it is safe for woman live alone in Jakarta.

Public transport is not so good. The better public transport is Trans Jakarta bus, but it's not too comfort right now.

If you think to go by taxy please make sure that the taxy is Blue Bird. But the best thing is that you travel by own vehicle or your office vehicle.

As I know, it doesn't anything matters with the bank even you are an expatriate.
