I need a delicious recipe for HERRING POT PIE/CASSEROLE,?

preferably one that is made in a deep and long (rectangular shape) casserole dish, the white ovenproof baking dishes, and a recipe that makes this dish with a pie crust at the top, showing the shape of a fish, like this: http://www.historicfood.com/Design/Assets/Images/Thumbnails/fish-piethmb.jpg

I'm not sure if its a pot pie or a casserole, or a mix of both. Please help, thanks. And if you have a photo of it, please post the link here.

    Yield: 1 servings

    1 tb Butter

    1 c Fine dried bread crumbs

    1 tb Finely chopped fresh parsley leaves

    2 oz Grated Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese

      Salt

      Freshly ground black pepper

    1 lb Idaho potatoes; peeled and sliced

      ; 1/4-inch thick

    2 c Thinly sliced onions

    2 tb Flour

    6  Pickled herring

    1 ½ c Milk

    Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Grease a glass baking dish with butter. In a small mixing bowl, combine the bread crumbs, parsley, and cheese. Season with salt and pepper. Mix well. Set aside. Season the potatoes and onions with salt and pepper. Place a layer of potatoes on the bottom of the prepared pan. Place a layer of onions over the potatoes. Sprinkle 1 tablespoon of the flour over the onions. Place half of the herring over the onions. Repeat the layering process with the remaining potatoes, onions, flour, and herring. Pour the milk over the herring. Sprinkle the top with the bread crumb mixture. Yield: 6 servings Converted by MC_Buster.
