Here's my problem, my mother in florida uses dial up 56k, and the movies I sent her wont play on her dial up modem. I use DSL myself, and they play just fine...I told her to update evrything, including her media player, but didnt make any difference. Sound jerks, and cuts out, and video, stops on long frames, etc, plays terrible if at all. But now I'm trying to find two specific funny videos to send her again she can use 56k to play, one is " Stephen seagal's mountain dew commercial " the other is " Budweiser farting horse commercial" and there is no selection listed to choose your connection settings for these vid's...any suggestrions please, or a link?

  1. The speed of her internet has nothing to do with how fast her computer runs. They're two separate things. Even if she's watching videos on YouTube, all she would have to do is just wait a very long time for the videos to load - but then it would run just fine.

It's likely that her computer is just too old to run files that intense.

Edit: Oh, I see... you mean streaming videos. I'm sorry, I doubt they have options for dial-up people, anymore. They're just not that common. Upgrade your mother's internet to DSL.
