I need a dirty website filter that my parents won't find out about.?

Question

I am trying to stop looking at dirty sites, but i can't have my parents find out. Is there something like a new internet browser or a site that i look at other sites at that filters sites, kind of like a proxy? Those are just some ideas. I have to be able to install it with out being a computer administrator.

well if u want a proxy how about "xamal.org" or "4plus10.com" or you can just download "ultrasurf". by the way u can use google images just dont click the pic and remember to delete your google history by hilighting the word and pressing delete.

I'm sorry that is the dumbest thing I've ever heard. Just don't use the internet man. You don't need a program anyway because you'll know the hole in the security and the password. And if you don't your screwed. So just tell yourself "No dirty sites til' Friday." and keep going longer and longer and eventually you won't go on them. I also suggest being busy too.

Since Proxy Sites get blocked SO often, your best bet is to join this Yahoo Group http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/Proxy... You will get 2 or 3 Brand New Unblocked Proxy Sites emailed to you each day. It's pretty good!

Hey, My best advice here. i think the best way to stop your parents from finding out about it. Is to quit. :) Look dude, if you really have an urge to look on dirty sites, and if you trust your parents, you can talk to them, because if they believe in you, they won't get mad at you. Don't continue is my best advice. Try nto to do it for atleast a day, that's my challenge for ya..I wish all of luck to you, try hard, and you can do it.

It's great that you're trying to stop looking at "dirty" sites.

One easy way is to just do a Yahoo! Search on free internet filters.  Some I found were K9 Web Protection, TechMission Safe Families, etc.  Search around and find something that doesn't have any strings attached, like having a free download of the software but having to pay for a code to initialize it.
