I am having a bunch of family in and I need a decent place to eat that is child friendly....6 kids, 5 of them under age 4. This is for my mother's birthday, so no Chuck-E-Cheese or anything. I called Olive Garden and they don't take reservations or call ahead seating on the weekends and niether does Cheesecake Factory. Any suggestions?!?!?!?

  1. are there any Applebee's in your area?

  2. the Upstream Brewing Company takes reservations for groups of 8+, I believe the times you can make reservations are limited though so I'd call and ask. And they have a children's menu.

They have a location in the old market, and one in west O.

Applebee's is a good family restaurant --a children's menu (they eat for 99 cents if you go on a tuesday or thursday), and in my experience very accomodating for big groups (though they don't take reservations either, if you call ahead, they'll try to coordinate the seating to get you in as fast as possible.)

  3. i was gonna say applebees too..haha i work there but what i was going to tell you is that they are fairly cheap and very family friendly....i know at my particular store we dont take reservations either but sometimes with large parties they will make an exception... if not try to go in right after they open because it wont be busy yet, or maybe around 2:30 or 3 because its slower then and you shouldnt have to wait for a table....if none of those times work than send 1 or 2 people from your party to the restaurant 15 or 20 min before you wish to be sat so they can work on getting a table for you
