I need a few really good DVDs to watch?

i'm having surgery and i'll be in bed for a week after, i have a dvd player and i wanna rent some dvds to keep myself busy. I need recommendations. i'm 18 yr old girl, i like almost everything but nothing rated R or gory (except lord of the rings:) I need some light stuff like chick flicks and some heavier stuff to just relax to, any ideas?
