I need a foundation that works well this my skin?

I have fair skin that is sort of rough and is red/blotchy on my cheeks

I need a foundation or powder or something to make my skin look smooth and not red anymore. I would like it to be something somewhat cheap that i can find in CVS or maybe macys but i would prefer cvs, Please your help is appreciated

It sounds like you have rosacea. Maybe instead of soap you should use a cetaphil product so the redness can settle down. A concealer with a green tint can tone down the redness then a regular foundation can be used. But , seeing as you may have rosacea, you would be smart to use something for sensitive skin. Metrogel cream is good for rosacea but you may need a prescription for that. if you have a health plan, it should be covered.Look up rosacea on the net. Good luck

Try going to one of those booths at the mall like MAC at Macys and ask for a foundation color to match your skin. Ask for a sample and take it to CVS and find a cheaper foundation. But it is really about matching the right color. I would recommend buying a foundation like MAC and buying cheaper eyeshadow and eye liner but makeup stays on the face longer with a good foundation.
