I need a free RSS Feed URL for AP local news for Carlsbad, CA to put as a page element on my Blog on Blogger?

Can anyone give me a specific RSS Feed URL to add as a page element on my Blogger Blog. I do searches and all I get is a page full of HTML language, and nothing I add, works. I need a specific "Feed URL"

I found one for Discovery Health which works. It is: "http://dsc.discovery.com/news/subjects/... That is all I need, not a page full of HTML. But, I want local AP news for Carlsbad, CA (FREE of course).

Anyone out there know what I'm talking about, and can give me the specific URL ? THANKS !!!!!
