I need a free and good firewall for xp ?

well i tried commando and Zone alarm but it makes pc slow.i need any light firewall.thanx

windows XP comes with its own firewall.

Softperfect personal firewall is very small, and very good.

It is very good if you have knowledge of ports, but even if you don't it has a learning mode and a good forum.

XP has it's own firewall - all you have to do is activate it. It's as good as anything else. Click on Start, Settings, Control Panel and Windows Firewall. That is, if you have XP SP2. SP2 provides the firewall. If you don't have it, your Windows is seriously out of date.

I use comodo on my personal as well as work PCs (my linux boxes don't use it, obviously), it is secure, easy to use, easy to install and auto updates.

It rivals McAfee in security and is better than ZA for space needed and memory usage.
