I need a free printer driver that saves the files as documents on my desktop instead of printing them?

So when you go to print the driver will show up as a printer choice but it will not print the file it will just save it as a file on my desktop like a pdf or word document and it needs to be free or sort of cheap.

Why would you want to go to all that trouble or even do that? If the file is in your computer you can just cut it and paste it on your desktop. That's not a real good idea though. Never save real files to your desktop, only shortcuts. Real files can be rather large and if they are on your desktop they use RAM as if they were running, and make your computer sluggish.
