  1. use avg instead it is legally free

    http://www.download.com/AVG-Anti-Virus-F...

  2. WTF is going on here.

  3. There is no point in downloading the trial version of any antivirus. You  can get a free antivirus from http://www.geeksjunction.com  to protect your computer forever.

  4. You may be having a virus or spyware installed on your PC. Norton, AVG , Avast are free antivirus software. Ad-aware, Ewido are free spyware removers. You can download free softwares at http://fixit.in/antivirus.html and http://fixit.in/spywareremover.html . You can also run a free registry scan using utilities from http://re7.info

  5. just go to mcafee.com/us etc.  my computer came with norton but after the subscription ran out i['ve been using mcafee without a credit card and i've actually downloaded it 3 times just using different email addresses. i think you can try all their products that's what i've been doing. Haven't paid for anything yet i usually just uninstall at the end of the trial period then pick a different product

  6. go to avgfree.com it's a completely free antivirus program.

  7. If you have used a free trial of McAfee and uninstalled it, the unistalled program left a registry key saying that you have had a free trial. What you need to do is clean that key out. Go to download.com and get a copy of Ccleaner. After installing Ccleaner, on the left side is a button that says Registry. Click on this button and let it scan for issues. When it is done scanning, let it fix the problems.  Make sure that you have uninstalled McAfee before running Ccleaner.

After doing this reboot computer and try installing the trial McAfee.
