I need a good, dependable browser?

I have Internet Explorer 6 (total JUNK) and Mozilla Firefox 3.0. Internet Explorer is continuously having to shut down because of errors. Firefox has some cool add-ons, but it is the slowest thing I have ever used and more often than not I have to hit a "Try Again" button about five times in order to open a page. I need a different browser that seems to have worked out the "bugs" and has some add-ons like Firefox. Firefox is nearly there! Before I download another browser I would just like some recommedations from other users. Let me know what you use and how reliable you believe it to be.

firefox or opera are the best.

If you really wnat your computer to run fast, install Linux on it!

Personally I have never had a problem with IE6, chances are you have downloaded some addons that are s******g things up. Try and run it without addons. If its still no go upgrade it to IE7. I have had lots of problems with IE7 but if IE6 isn't working for you, what do you have to lose. (Upgrading will uninstall 6 so you wont really be adding more junk to your computer, just replacing.)

Edit: There are thousands of browsers out there, but website developers only bother testing their sites with the main browsers. So if you get too obscure your likely to have the same problems. Example: my ps3's internet browser has trouble with lots of sites.

For me Mozilla Firefox is the most reliable and secure browser.

But if you want an alternative, besides IE and FF, then try Opera. It's quick and small. And the second on my list of best browsers. IE is not even on my list.

you've already tried the most of the major browsers, but one more to try is "Safari" its the apple web browser... personally I like It.... it can be downloaded from www.apple.com
