  1. In a shaker filled with good quality ice pour 2 oz of Grey Goose Vodka and the tiniest splash of Martini & Rossi Dry Vermouth.  Shake for 20 seconds and pour into a chilled martini glass which already contains the biggest stuffed olive you can find.

    Enjoy!

  2. This will boil down to preference but I bartended for a long time an an upscale steak house and this was the recipe we used for a vodka martini.

    First, use a chilled martini glass. If you don't have time to put it in a freezer, fill the glass with ice and club soda or water. Let it sit while you make the drink or for a few minutes.

    Pour three ounces of vodka in the shaker with ice. Shake well for about fifteen to twenty seconds. Expect the vodka to be cloudy.

    Once you've removed the ice from the martini glass or removed from freezer, pour approximately 1/16 to 1/8 of an ounce of dry vermouth into the martini glass. Swirl it around so that it coats the glass and dump any remaining vermouth.

    Finally, dump your shaken vodka into the glass and garnish with queen olives. For a nice kick, remove the pimento from the olives and stuff with blue cheese crumbles.

    For the apple martini, use the same process for chilling a glass, but don't swirl it with vermouth.  In a strainer, mix 2 oz. vodka (Ketel One Citroen is a good option), 1 oz. of Apple Pucker or Schnapp's, a splash of Sprite and 1 oz. of sweet & sour.  I am not sure how storebought sweet & sour will work, as I always use homemade, so you may want to try it with and without the sweet & sour.  It should be equally good.  Shake and strain into chilled glass.  Garnish with apple slice and/or maraschino cherries.

    Hope that helps!

  4. For the Appletini I use one part vodka and two parts Mickey Finn's apple schnapps - and lots of ice.  You can use any of the Mickey Finn range to make other -tinis. eg Blueberry,Sour Cherry etc.

  5. Vodka Martini

        * 1½ shots vodka

        * ¾ shot dry vermouth

    Place vodka and vermouth in an ice-filled cocktail shaker. Shake well. Strain into a martini glass. Serve with an olive.

    Appletini Recipe -

    2 oz Vodka

    1/2 oz Calvados

    1/2 oz Triple sec

    1 oz Pineapple juice

    Mix all ingredients for a Appletini Recipe in a chilled cocktail shaker / stirrer and pour into a cocktail glass. Add an olive, onion, lemon twist or maraschino cherry  to create a great speciality drink.

  6. Check out the Van Gogh Vodka website. They have all kinds of recipes.

  7. Martini:

    fill a cocktail shaker with ice, add a splash of Vermouth and shake vigorously... pour off the vermouth.  add vodka, shake or stir, pour vodka into a martini glass, add garnish (olive, onion)

    Appletini: I don't think you can get good appletinis from doing it classically with apples, and you wouldn't get that nice vibrant color, so i would recommend a good appletini mixer, i like Rose's a lot.

  8. Start with a very good vodka, no cheap stuff. With or without vermouth ( a drop or 2 if u desire), and blue cheese stuffed olives. Don't buy the stuffed olives, make your own. LOL

    The Appletini I serve, again, starts with a good vodka. 2 parts vodka, 1 part Sour Apple Pucker.

    SERVE ICE COLD! Enjoy responsibly.
