I am currently painting my room, and I picked a dark blue color. Its a very pretty aquatic looking color, but I decided to make one wall an accent wall. I have no idea what color to use! My current bed comforter is a red color, and I am painting the wall my bed is always against. Please give me some ideas!

  1. Find an accent pillow with a couple of shades of blues and red(like your comforter), use a blue in the pillow to accent with.

  2. your avatar has a very pretty face & love the background. :)

play around with the Sherwin Williams color visualizer to find colors that you like. It is the best paint visualizer on the web, imho. I like how their color palette is laid out, I like that you can search by color family & color name, the "painted" rooms look the most realistic, and it suggests coordinating color schemes. You can literally spend hours:

I think brown like "tea chest" (# 6103) or "chateau brown" (# 7510) would make a terrific accent wall for dark blue & red.

You can also take a photo of your house & upload it to the makeover gallery on this website:

You can get color suggestions & they'll photoshop them onto your room so that you can get an idea of what it will look like.
