  1. For a more commercial buffet, go for Mandarin Buffet.  If you want a more authentic Chinese food experience, go to any dim sum restaurants especially in the Spadina Chinatown strip in downtown Toronto.

  2. Lin Garden: Pharmacy and Sheppard

  3. Starwalk because it has a lot of different choices specially..at night they serve sushi or king crabs. Always the highlight there.

    near pacific mall...( steeles)

  4. Do you mean literally Chinese food, or Asian-style food?

If you mean the latter, I highly recommend Great Khan's Mongolian Grill, found right next to Pacific Mall.

The highest quality food in terms of taste and freshness, and you get to create your own recipe combinations for a flat top chef to cook (while throwing in some fancy food-crobatics)

  5. While I like Mandarin, I have found the Starwalk Buffet in the Rockwood Mall (Burnhamthorpe & Dixie), Mississauga, to be the best with the best variety.  One of our friends is not an afficionado of Chinese Food but he likes it there because they always have Roast Beef with all the trimmings.

  6. The Mandarin....they are everywhere.

  7. Wa Toos

    Downtown Toronto

  8. Instead of a typical canadian version of the chinese buffet, why not try a real chinese buffet known as dim sum. There are many excellent dim sum restaurants in Toronto such as the pink pearl (high end, downtown toronto) to Golden Leaf Chinese Cuisine 307 Spadina Avenue , Toronto ON M5T2E6 (416) 597-1000

Located in the heart of Chinatown featuring all day Dim Sum! Dim sum is usually served at lunch and is a collection of small dishes which are wheeled around by very nice people on carts. You can see the food and choose what you want. The most common dim sum food are different kinds of seafood dumplings but my favourite dishes are black pepper beef and spring rolls as well as chicken buns and beef balls. Cha Liu is an all day dim sum (small) restaurant on a 2nd floor which overlooks Yonge Street. (N. of Eglinton). Order is by al a carte menu. Tel: 2352 Yonge St., 2nd Fl. Tel: 416-485-1725. Lai Wah Heen is located inside the Metropolitan Hotel; take the elevator up a couple of floors. Expect standard (plus newly created selections) of dim sum. Contemporary décor, quiet, good service and delicious dim sum by al a carte. Address: 108 Chestnut Street. Tel: (416) 977-9899. Website: http://www.metropolitan.com
