I need a good comeback can anyone help?

This girl was insulting me and saying i was a hypocrite and stuff like that and i just stayed quiet. she probably thought i was too scared but what should i say?

Or you can stay quiet.  There's a saying that goes something like, "stay quiet and be thought an idiot, or speak and they'll know for sure."

Don't say anything, why would you if you know it's not the truth? You don't have to prove to anybody about anything. She can talk all she wants to and if people believe her, they'll believe anything. I've been there and you know what happened, it all came out in the wash and the other person was standing there looking stupid. As long as you stand your ground and don't give people a reason to doubt you by acting out and feeling like you gotta do something to stop this girl from calling you a hypocrite, then you'll be alright. It'll pass, once she sees you're not concerned about it, she'll move on to someone else.

Don't bother?

Insulting someone back just furthers the altercation and lets them know that you care what they say. The silent treatment works well.

What you should do is just try an ignore her because once she realizes that it doesn't bother you she'll give it up and leave you alone.

Are you ready to have a battle of witts?  When will it end? Who will have the best comeback? Adding fuel to fire never works out well unless you like getting all hot under the collar.  Even if the battle of witts or should I say Dimwitts doesn't escalate on the spot it won't get any better down the road with someone always looking to one up the other person.

  If you have to say anything trying saying something that gives them less ammo like: "Thanks, I'll give that some thought" or "You're probably right" or "Wow, you just made my day."  Of course none of that would be true, but what else would they have to say?  If the point is to shut them up, you can do it without being mean.  In the long run the cruel jerks that hurt others end up looking like the fools.

Let her think you're scared. You're the only one who will KNOW if you're scared or not. If you're here asking for a good comeback, that proves that you're not scared and you can give a comeback..so obviously you're totally not scared right? You don't need to prove anything to her thought..

She'll stop bothering you if you don't say anything. And just like the first person said.. the silent treatment DOES work.
