I found some movies old movies on archive.org that I downloaded as mpeg4 to save space. Now I am looking for a small application that will convert my mpeg4 movies to a format like mpeg1,2 or wma. Im trying to do this so that I can put them in a movie maker and have them all in a movie format on a dvd.

  1. The only format that will play on a "normal" DVD player is DVD compliant MPEG-2 - you can use DVD Flick  to do the conversion and DVD burning.  If you've got a lot of these movies, and quality is an issue, it may be better to get a new DVD player that can play MPEG-4.  They're widely available now and quite cheap.
