  1. Just start off running say a mile or two at least 3-4 times a week then the next week start running 3 then the week after do 3's and 4's. you Willl gradually get better and have more endurance. During the whole time your running just try not to stop running and walk. Keep Running! it wil get easier. I always told myself to not walk at least run the whole time. and at the end of your race finish hard, all out.

  2. I'm starting out slow, my goal is to get to run a good solid mile.  I walk, run, walk, run.  I'm almost up to a mile, but hte place I run at is really hilly, so that slows me down a bit.  Good luck, sorry I couldn't be of much help!!!

  3. Start slow and do what you can do.  Maybe a mile or 10 minutes every day.  Once you get comfortable with that, increase your mileage by 1/2 mile or 5 minutes.  Slowly build up each week by a 1/2 mile or mile and eventually get to around 4-5 miles every day for 6 days a week.  This may seem like a lot now, but you will feel much better when you get in season because the 3 mile runs will seem easy and speed work will be much easier because you have a solid base to work off of.

Good luck in your running career!

  4. base mileage.  Thats all I can say.  Start at a run/walk and then if you can run more than do it.  Try and push yourself to do better, but not too hard because that can lead to injury.

  5. lose weight

just kidding  lol sorry i had to do that since u mentioned it :)

ur pretty skinny i guess anyways:

run everyday. start at a distance u can do without much difficulty like half a mile or something, then every week or two increase it by another half mile until u get comfortable doing that distance.....and try to end with doing 4-5 miles by the end of summer so you'll be ahead of the game

    good luck :)
