I need a good excuse!

Question

What is a great excuse for not doing homework?

The dog ate my homework one doesn't work. Neither does, ''I felt sick'' or ''I lost it''

I need something good!

"I made a lot of mistakes and i wanted to correct them before i hand it in, can i hand it in tomorrow?"

I believe that education is today is teaching us not only what the textbook says, but about life itself. I learned a great lesson from you mrs. teacher, that mistakes and failures are to substance for learning. With that being said, I decided not to do my H,W so i can learn what not to do.

i forgot. homework is not a big deal when at school. all you'll do is fall a bit behind.

a had a assignment due on a friday and i said can i hand it in on saturday cause that's when i go to town next (i have to hand it in at uni whic is a hlaf hours drive away). teacher said yes. but the uni is closed on saturdays and sundays but u can still hand in your assignments they just get delivered on monday. best excuse i've made in ages.

Tell your teacher that you had good intentions but that sometimes good intentions hurt and that you didn't feel that hurting you (that is your teacher) is something you could do as a thoughtful member of society.

Either that, or go with the whole 'Green thing' everyone is doing and say that you didn't have any recycled paper to do your homework and that by using regular paper you would be contributing to the ongoing destruction of the world.  And no one wants that on their hands
