  1. Well, your stardards are a little high. I would go with making a cage out of a BIG walmart bin, and then cutting out the top and covering it with hardware cloth. What were doing right now, is making one out of a shelf. We took wood and make a frame for the door and hardware cloth. Then we cut a hole in the 2nd shelf, and stuck a PVC pipe up in it so she could crawl through it. But we put cloth in the pipe for grip. (felt works good.)  Otherwise, you can check e-bay to see if you find anything, but if you love your hamster, you would just save up some more money because $30 will not cover the cost for a GOOD hamster cage.

  2. Make a bin cage. I have one for two dwarf hamsters and they love the cage! It's also very easy to clean. It took me around 15-20 minutes to clean it while the other cage I used to have (the CritterTrail 3) took over two hours! It only cost us about $20 to make a bin cage so I think that's the perfect cage for your hamster.

  3. try looking at pet supplies plus, they have a lot of cages ur hammie would love! they do have ones with tubes to! but u can always use toilet paper rolls to because they can chew them. but beware, cages  with tubes can be tricky to clean!

  4. how about this this is at petsmart http://www.petsmart.com/product/index.js...

  5. There is a cage at the link below that is called All living things 3 level hamster cage. It only costs 21.99. Hope this helps.

  6. Try going online to there website you may find a lot there!!!

  7. rather than hamster cages look at rat cages, they cost about the same but are bigger and have tubes etc...

A small rat cage is great for a hamster, and for a big hamster its good because rats are big so the tubes are wider and easier. try small "freddy" cages (you can get freddy cages from most pet stores).

I have had rats and hamsters and found they are great cages.

  8. Try a habitrail ovo SUITE. the ovo pad is way to small. And its about $35 (a little over ur budget) but make you have chew toys so it doesn't bite the cage.

Check out my hamster care site:

  9. Since you want a cage with tube connections, try Crittertrail, Habitrail, and this brand that they sell at Walmart. The Crittertrail is the most common and is found in PetSmart. Yippee!

You'd be surprised how much different cages there are of Crittertrail. They range from about $30, to higher prices...

My hamster is quite chubby for a dwarf hamster, so she lives in an Outlook (Crittertrail).

There are many options out there, so I hope you make up your mind!

    Good luck!
