I need a good moveset for my dragonite?

i have taught it surf and waterfall and i need 2 more moves i was thinking dragon claw and outrage and other ideas and im not teachin it a fire move coz my garchomp has got one

Well teaching it 2 HMs perhaps wasn't that wise.

Hyper Beam is a (good) strong move even though it need recharging.

Okay, delete both HM moves. It's not a good choice to teach HM moves to a Dragonite because Dragonite's can learn so many cool attacks and it would be a waste to teach it Surf and Waterfall

Here are the moves to have:

-Giga Impact

-Thunder Bolt

-Ice Beam

-Dragon Claw

Keep your idea of Dragon Claw because that would be an excellent move for your Dragonite.

well, if you are willing to have the move deleter help you lose those 2 hms an amazing moveset for dragonite would be, ice beam, dragon claw, earthquake, and hyperbeam. if you just want two good moves, teach it ice beam so it can kill any other dragon, flying, grass, rock, and ground no problem, and then hyperbeam to kill anything else. while your two water attacks kill steel. your only problem in which case yould be going against ice pokemon and you dont have any attakcks that would work super well against ghost.

Well, if you're using Dragonite, you might as well make it stand out, considering Salamence does his job better. Try this move set to make him shine:

♦ Dragonite @Life Orb

• Dragon Dance

• Thunder Punch

• Earthquake

• Outrage

No other non-legendary dragon gets Dragon Dance and Outrage. So, its best if Dragonite has them both since he also gets STAB (same-type attack bonus). After a single Dragon Dance, Dragonite will already outrun many opponents. Additionally, Dragonite will be more powerful. His Outrage will have a combined power of 351 with STAB, Life Orb, and Dragon Dance!

Thunder Punch is there because you don't want Fire Punch. Fire Punch will hit Skarmory, Forretress, Bronzong, harder. You can't do that with Thunder Punch. However, Thunder Punch does have its uses. It can hit Suicune, water, and flying types (Gyarados).

Earthquake provides type coverage. It hits Steels, Rocks, Fire-types, Electric-types, etc. Outrage does best in late-game, where it can sweep without disturbances.

You should try to get rid of Waterfall and Surf. Salamence does that job better with Hydro Pump, and Gyarados does better with Waterfall. Gyarados is faster, and Waterfall gets STAB from him. Gyarados also has Intimidate, which makes it easier for him to switch in. The move deleter is in Canalave City, just in case you didn't know. :-)
